iplaynoise is an East London-based DJ, with a reputation for exploring the deeper side of drum n bass music. 

Spending the nineties yearning for a sound that would move him, he discovered LTJ Bukem’s soulful take on drum n bass, and his now legendary Good Looking Records imprint, and found what he had been searching for. Immersing himself in the scene and making a regular pilgrimage to the Progression Sessions, Hospitality and Soul In Motion nights he found a home, embarking on 25 years of record collecting, promoting and DJing. 

In the 2010’s iplaynoise collaborated with likeminded DJs to launch Drop Art, becoming embedded as a resident and bringing drum n bass events to The Cause, Two Tribes, Work Bar and The Castle. Artists to grace Drop Art’s decks and mic over the years included Breakage, Sweetpea, Bazil MC, Blocks & Escher, Phil:osophy, Minor Forms and Visionobi.
