About Echo 17 Festival

Echo 17 is a brand-new, affordable family festival in Walthamstow, set across the brilliant venues of the Ravenswood Estate. We’re bringing together over 20 grassroots artists for a full day of incredible live music, plus family-friendly activities, and mouth-watering food and drink.

Independent, grassroots music is where almost every major act gets its start – and we’re here to champion the next generation from our own backyard. We want to give our community the chance to see the big acts of tomorrow today, at a great price, in our favourite local spaces.

And the party doesn’t stop when the bands finish – our DJs will keep the beats going into the night, so you can dance, drink, and celebrate the best of Walthamstow together.

Our Vision

We want grassroots artists to have every opportunity to play great shows and be paid a fair price. We also want people to be able to access great independent music at an affordable price... so we are making Echo 17 a ‘pay what you can’ event. If you want to come along for free, you absolutely can. If you can afford to pay though, please do! We won’t be taking any profit out of this event; if there is any surplus after paying our suppliers and artists we will donate it to local cultural good causes and re-invest it in next year’s event.
